Healthy Children, Healthy Communities
Our Healthy Children, Healthy Communities project focuses on the
healthy development of Canadian 9-12 year olds. Children (aged
9-12) and child health experts exchange knowledge about social
factors that can have a positive or negative impact on their health
– factors such as poverty, education, housing, violence, the environment,
or racism. In their communities, participants create action plans
to ensure that their priorities are included in health initiatives
in their schools and communities, as well as at the national and
international levels. 2006 - ongoing
