UNA-Canada is partnering with FIFA Football for Hope (FIFA/FFH) and Saputo Inc. to celebrate FIFA Women’s World Cup through Sport-in-a-Box. The programme links urban Aboriginal youth and their communities in Edmonton and Ottawa with their mainstream peers. Community youth gain leadership and coaching skills and participating a-once-in a lifetime soccer experience.

Thanks to all the childrn, youth and adults who joined UNA-Canada, Capital United Soccer, the Carleton Ravens and the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup at Wesley Clover Park for soccer skills demonstrations all day at the Odawa Native Friendship Centre Pow Wow. Click here to see photos of the event.
Ottawa Community Cup: June 28th 2015
UNA-Canada and our community partners are currently recruiting players for the Community Cup, held on June 28th at Brewer Park. We’re looking for First Nation, Inuit and Métis soccer players aged 15+ who are available for several evening practices in June, and to play at the Community Cup on June 28th. Jerseys and food will be provided for your participation. We are looking for soccer players of any skill level with an interest in improving their skills and gaining leadership experience to come and participate.
