On November 12, 2022 we were proud to pay tribute to our 2022 Global Citizen
The Honourable Anita Anand, Canada’s Minister of National Defence.
Minister Anand demonstrates a continuing commitment to reform the governance model of local, national and international agencies while prioritizing the creation of a safe workplace for all Canadians, especially women.
In her previous work as Minister of Public Services and Procurement, Minister Anand secured COVID vaccines and PPE, allowing at risk Canadians to receive urgent and immediate care during the pandemic.
Together with the UNAC Board Chair, Vittoria Varalli and the UNAC Board of Directors planned an evening celebration in honour of Minister Anand that will included 250 business, political and community leaders, global citizens, friends, partners and colleagues, as well as a social media reach of more than 80,000.
